"Life is mighty precious when there is less of it to waste…" Bonnie Raitt.  As far as we know, this life is not a dress rehearsal.  With that sentiment, we are launching Beyond Measure: www.powerfulbeyondmeasure.com.  Beyond Measure is a business that I had to do - I couldn’t stop it if I had tried, which is both exciting and annoying.  Exciting because I am finally at a place where I can talk my walk; annoying, because remember - I couldn’t stop it if I tried.  This "calling" thing is a big responsibility. 

To add to the responsibility, the inevitability and the ultimate success of this business, I have brought amazing talent to help me.  First, there is Ali Hawks.  Ali is an amazing pied piper who is my executive director, but she is so much more than that.  Ali is one of the happiest and competitive people I have ever met.  Having Ali on my team is like having an army - a happy army.  In addition to Ali, there is Cody.  Cody Maher is the magical web guy, who is setting up Beyond Measure’s site and internet business.  Most of what Cody tells me, I do not understand, but sooner or later, I will understand the language.  It is like being in Italy, the food and wine are so good, that you convince yourself that you understand.  So understand, I will.  Ali and Cody used to date, but remain good friends; lucky for me.

Others who have helped me are: my husband David Fennell, who is awesome.  He is the perfect husband for me.  My cousin Stephanie Kinder, who too is a lawyer and has vetted all of my ideas about this business.  My cousin introduced me to Roy Cox, the photographer who took that photo on the site.  Roy is the bomb.  When I die, that photo will be at my funeral.  Shout out to all of the employees at Brown Law Group.  BLG is my training incubator, my greatest teacher and an amazing law firm; if I don’t say so myself!

At this stage, Beyond Measure has created its logo, its landing page, its organization and has committed to its first seminar at the Lodge at Torrey Pines, September 26th and 27th.  This week, the site will announce details about the upcoming seminar and allow people to register and pay for it online.  Keep watching as we build Beyond Measure.  So much more to come.  Suggestions and input welcomed.
